His appointment is &#8220;for his leadership in South American electric power markets, resource and transmission planning, and standards&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Rudnick is the fourth Chilean member, joining national prizewinners in Applied Sciences and Technology Jos\u00e9 Miguel Aguilera, Juan Asenjo and Andr\u00e9s Weintraub.<\/p>\n<p>The NAE has more than 2,000 peer-elected members and foreign members, senior professionals in business, academia and government, who are among the world&#8217;s most successful engineers.
