The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in spanish)

The editorial of this month analyzes the preliminary bases of the 2022/01 Tender for Regulated Clients, published by the National Energy Commission last December 31st. The analysis reviews the differences and similarities that this process has with previous tenders, focusing on the newly implemented mechanisms and their implications for the integration of storage systems. In addition, a reflection is made on the regulatory challenges offered by the current bidding system for the implementation of electricity portability, towards the new government.

Additionally, the Electricity Market Report’s statistics are available to download in Excel format from our statistics website. Through this, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to relevant information related to the electricity sector. For that, we monthly collect and organize the most relevant data of the National Electric System:
