The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in spanish)

This edition of the Report presents an analysis of the relationship between communities and the construction of transmission lines. Mention is made of some of the problems encountered in the construction of new projects, community concerns regarding this type of construction and the impact of the delay of new transmission works on the national electricity system. Finally, the new negotiation mechanisms developed by the government to facilitate communication between communities and project developers are analyzed.

In addition, the Report and electricity sector statistics are available for download in Excel format from our statistics web portal. Through this measure, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to information related to the electricity sector, for which we compile and organize the most relevant data of the SIC and SING systems on a monthly basis:
