The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

In this edition, we analized the risks of concentrating in a single government institution, as the CNE, the full risponsability of design, coordination and management of auction processes, as indicated in the Law 20,518 approved this year. In addition, taking into account the proposal in the Transmission Bill for creating a new independent system operator (CISEN), which will manage simultaneously SIC and SING networks, Systep proposes that this new independent organism as a more convenient manager for the future auction processes.
