The Systep Team is pleased to present the Chilean Electricity Sector Monthly Report.

October’s editorial is entitled “Integration of data centers to the SEN: Impacts and challenges for the near future“. It discusses the limitations and challenges of integrating data centers into the SEN in the short term, particularly in the area of transmission. Given its strategic relevance for the digital and economic development of Chile, the need to strengthen electricity planning and adopt measures that allow an efficient and balanced integration of this new demand in the short and medium term is highlighted.

In addition, the Report and electricity sector statistics are available for download in Excel format from our statistics web portal. Through this measure, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to information related to the electricity sector, for which we compile and organize the most relevant SEN data on a monthly basis:
