(07/07/ 2021) Atlas Renewable Energy was recently recognized as Sponsor of the Year in Latin America and awarded for Solar Deal of the Year by IJGlobal.

The solar deal of the year award corresponded to the financing of the Ananuca portfolio, which closed on March 3, 2020 for a total of MMUS$ 253, with which Atlas Renewable Energy issued the largest solar bond in Latin America to date. This allowed refinancing the Javiera Solar Plant and financing the construction of the Sol del Desierto Solar Project, which should start commercial operation in the coming months, thus adding its third plant in the country. Additionally, the company was recognized as Latin America 2020 Sponsor of the Year by IJGlobal for the company’s contributions to accelerating the region’s energy transformation.

Atlas Renewable Energy relied on the services of Systep Ingeniería y Diseños as market advisor to DNB Markets, which in turn acted as Sole Placement Agent for the green bond in the United States. The studies were conducted by the Market Intelligence Area led by its manager, Pablo Cerda V., and under the direction of Systep’s general manager, Rodrigo Jiménez B.
