The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

This edition of the Report describes a complex scenario for NCRE projects developers, as result of the low marginal costs of the system, transmission constraints in northern SIC and expectations of a highly competitive bidding process 2015/01 for regulated customers supply. The latter is explained by the expiration of the former supply contracts awarded through bids, hence it is expected that companies whose contracts are coming to their end, will submit competitive bids to hold their contracting levels.
