The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

This edition of the Report analyzes the document Proposal of Transmission Expansion of the National Electric System 2017 published on January 30th by the National Electric Coordinator (CEN, by its acronym in Spanish). In particular, it describes the suggested expansions by the CEN to the National Transmission System and the scenarios that led to those suggestions. Finally it explains scenarios that were not included in the proposal which might give place to expansions or incentives in a more flexible and versatile system.

We expect that this report will be a contribution to the electricity industry, where we also review the following information:
