The Systep Team is pleased to present the Chilean Electricity Sector Monthly Report for the month of May 2024.

This month editorial entitled: “2023/01 Auction: Was it really positive for regulated consumers?” summarizes and discuss the results of the last tender process for the supply of regulated customers, taking into account the changes introduced to the auction terms by the CNE compared to previous tenders, and their impact on the submitted bids. We also review the effect of measures such as the inclusion of side-charges to the energy price indexation formula, and how it would affect the regulated clients final tariffs.

Additionally, the Electricity Market Report’s statistics are available for download in Excel format from our statistics website. Through this, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to relevant information related to the electricity sector.
