The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

This month’s editorial addresses the proposals of the presidential candidates Gabriel Boric and José Antonio Kast regarding energy issues, in addition to highlighting just some of the challenges that the next administration will have to face. Although there are several initiatives in common, there are topics of interest that cause concern in the sector, such as, for example, decarbonization, delays in the distribution reform, improvement of planning processes, among others.

Additionally, the Electricity Market Report’s statistics are available to download in Excel format from our statistics website. Through this, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to relevant information related to the electricity sector. For that, we monthly collect and organize the most relevant data of the National Electric System:
