The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

This edition of the report presents an analysis of the distribution pricing process, highlighting the recent modifications proposed by the CNE and those formulated by CADE in 2011. Additionally, a historical comparison of the results of the CNE and distribution companies’ studies is presented, together with the participation of the VAD in the customer’s final tariff. Finally, the implications of the VAD on the quality of supply and its role in achieving the goals proposed by the 2050 energy policy presented by the government in 2015 are analyzed.
