The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in Spanish).

In this edition of the Report we present an analysis of the electrical international interconnections of Chile, describing its current condition and principal challenges. Particularly, the importance of advancing with a suitable politic that promotes the confidence and the regulative harmonization is highlighted, in order to obtain an international system effectively integrated. Additionally, the results provided recently by the BID (Banco Interamericano del Desarrollo) are reviewed, describing the economic and environmental benefits of a multilateral interconnection.

We expect that this report will be a contribution to the electricity industry, where we also review the following information:
