The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector for the month of February 2024.

The February editorial entitled “Tariff Normalization Bill: What does it really solve?” analyzes the bill introduced on January 16, 2024. This bill seeks to contain energy cost increases due to delays in the publication of tariff decrees and to gradually unfreeze the Distribution Added Value (VAD) between 2024 and 2025.

Additionally, the Electricity Market Report’s statistics are available for download in Excel format from our statistics website. Through this, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to relevant information related to the electricity sector. For that, we monthly collect and organize the most relevant data of the National Electric System:
