The company was supported by Systep as market advisor to lenders for its three renewable generation plant portfolios

(07/07/ 2021) Last week, the financing of the last portfolio being developed by Mainstream Renewable Power under the contracts awarded in the 2015/01 bidding process was closed, as part of the company’s development and growth strategy in Chile.

The Andes Renovables wind and solar platform includes three portfolios (Condor, Huemul and Copihue) with a combined investment of more than MMUS$ 1,800 to build 1,350 MW of renewable capacity in the country. The above amount is divided into ten renewable projects, of which 1,000 MW correspond to wind farms (7 projects), while 350 MW correspond to solar photovoltaic plants (3 projects). According to Mainstream, all the plants of the Andes Renovables platform are expected to be operational during 2022.

Mainstream Renewable Power relied on the services of Systep Ingeniería y Diseños as market advisor to the group of international banks that financed the three portfolios of the Andes Renovables platform. The studies were conducted by the Market Intelligence Area led by its manager, Pablo Cerda V., and under the direction of Systep’s general manager, Rodrigo Jiménez B.
