The Systep Team is pleased to present the Monthly Report of the Chilean Electricity Sector (in spanish)

In the context of adopting strategies to achieve carbon neutrality, interest has arisen in the international and national community in the production and use of hydrogen as a carbon dioxide-free fuel. This month’s editorial addresses the alternatives for the development of the green hydrogen market in Chile. Several studies indicate that the country would have a competitive position in the world in hydrogen production mainly thanks to the growing development of low-cost renewable generation. All in all, it establishes the importance of the current discussion that is taking place, in order to efficiently address and promote the development of this new technology in the energy market.

In addition, the Report and electricity sector statistics are available for download in Excel format from our statistics web portal. Through this measure, we seek to facilitate the community’s access to information related to the electricity sector, for which we compile and organize the most relevant SEN data on a monthly basis:
